The Darlings Family Trust are from Gordon and Ballarat Victoria. With acoustic fingerstyle guitar songs and warm lush electric guitar sounds alongside sprawling stories sung in unison harmonies, The Darlings Family Trust root themselves in Folk music whilst dashing in and out of genres like Blues, Indie-rock and Country.
The Darlings Family Trust have opened for Hanna and Jessie Lee’s Bad Habits, The Smith and Western Jury, The Davidson Brothers, Skyscraper Stan, Slim Krusty, Rhyley McGrath, The Slingers and Fanning Dempsey National Park.
They released two singles Shackles and Island Out To Sea in 2024 and will be celebrating the release of their first album, Truth Be Told, at the Daylesford Hotel on 12 December 2025 in full band mode.
The launch will be opened by Seren Spain, a UK born Australian-based indie-folk artist. Seren's songwriting is known for her powerful imagery and intimate acoustic performances.
