Brandon Appleby is an exciting new voice on the Melbourne jazz scene. The young alto and baritone saxophonist is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and is inspired by the music of artists such as Michael Brecker, Roy Hargrove and Gerry Mulligan. His playing combines a love of the traditions of jazz along with a modern touch and sensibility. He has performed regularly at festivals around Victoria including the recent Castlemaine Jazz Festival.
Join us to enjoy his debut performance at Bar Bamford.
He will be accompanied on the evening by Simon Wigney (Guitar) and Ben Gibbons (Double bass).
