There is something quietly extraordinary happening on Vincent Street.

Phoenix Cinema is a 64-seat, community-run cinema bringing film back to Daylesford — complete with a bar and cafe, a thoughtfully curated program of films, festivals and intimate live performances. It exists because a group of passionate locals decided their town deserved it, and have been putting in the work to make it real ever since.

This month every Friday night raffle at the Daylesford Hotel goes directly to them. Come in, pull up a stool, try your luck, and be part of keeping it going.

Prizes on the night include a meat tray, a fresh veggie box, venue vouchers, and a spin of the wheel.
