Brandon Appleby Trio

  • Daylesford Hotel 2 Burke Square Daylesford, VIC, 3460 Australia (map)

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of live jazz at Bar Bamford with one of Melbourne’s most exciting emerging talents, Brandon Appleby. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Brandon brings a fresh energy to the local jazz scene, blending the rich traditions of the genre with a modern, soulful touch.

Drawing inspiration from legends such as Michael Brecker, Roy Hargrove, and Gerry Mulligan, Brandon’s playing on alto and baritone saxophone is both expressive and refined. His performances capture the spirit of classic jazz while offering something distinctly contemporary.

Having performed at festivals across Victoria – including the Castlemaine Jazz Festival – Brandon now brings his signature sound to Daylesford for the very first time.

He’ll be joined on stage by Simon Wigney (guitar) and Ben Gibbons (double bass) for a night of smooth grooves, improvisational brilliance, and pure musical joy.

Join us for Brandon Appleby’s debut performance at Bar Bamford – an evening of world-class jazz in the heart of Daylesford.
