Late Night Radio is a collaboration of musicians from jazz, blues, folk and rock backgrounds who share a love of sophisticated music. Sultry songstress Paris Payne (Birdland) and Torch Blues Balladeer Louie Payne. Louie has been in bands since he was 16. Folk, Rock, R& B, Soul, even a dabble with punkrock in '80's U.K.. He has shared stages with the likes of Renee Gayer and Jo Camilleri, his vocal style ranging from soothing croon to power soul. Paris has been influenced by interesting interpretations of 1930's and 40's standards. Her style is sultry, warm and intimate.

"I think people love the contrast of the power of male vocal and the subtlety of the female vocal and the material from that period of time suits the combination so well" says Paris. They both love the music from the Vintage period of 1930's and 40's. "It was a brilliant and inspired time for songwriting", Paris reflects, "there are many songs of optimism and resourcefulness which came from the difficult time of the depression. Life was very hard but there was a focus on taking responsibility for finding joy and appreciating life's blessings."
