Cameron Leith

Cameron Leith has been around wine since he could walk. He became winemaker at Passing Clouds in 2008 and has recently established Leith Winemaking – a broader wine business producing wine for numerous clients in Macedon, Bendigo and beyond.

He learnt a lot osmotically from his father who established Passing Clouds by following him around, then working along side him. After a vintage in Burgundy (including a few weeks working in the vineyards) he well a truly caught the winemaking bug and came back to Australia with a desire and passion to make wines that are true to their terroir and express it fully.

After another couple of years learning the artistry of winemaking from his father, he took over the winemaking at Passing Clouds (at 23 years of age), after completing his Masters of Wine Science and Viticulture.
